The following techniques and working methods are available:
  • Body parts and panels are made from aluminium or metal using a range of expert techniques. With the aid of a so-called “English wheel” round panels are processed into the desired shape after having been bent or beaten. Panel beating takes place on an oakwood surface or sandbag, depending on the desired shape. In addition, special wooden (manually crafted) moulds and jigs can be used to shape the panels. These moulds and jigs are usually formed on the basis of drawings or measurements, but can also be manufactured based on photographic material or 3D scans.

A new body is composed from a collection of body panels which have been manufactured as described above. These body panels are welded together using the most appropriate welding technique for each and every individual weld. These techniques are:
  • Autogenous welding (for metal, aluminium and brass)
  •
  • TIG (for metal, aluminium and messing)
  •
  • MIG (for metal)
  •
  • Spot-welding (for metal/aluminium)
